Hi, I'm Lauren.

Marketing strategist, systems-minded operator, and founder of Foraged Marketing.

I started out as an elementary teacher. Teaching turns out to be serious training for marketing: you learn to figure out what someone actually needs to hear, say it in words they use, and build a structure where progress happens on purpose instead of by luck.

For more than ten years since, I've done that for service businesses. I've written messaging, rebuilt websites, ranked pages, grown social accounts, launched memberships, and wired up the CRMs and automations that hold it all together. Moving between strategy and execution is the whole point. The plan and the plumbing have to match.

That range is why clients tend to hand me a goal rather than a task list. I map the path, build what's missing, and document everything so the business isn't dependent on me forever.

Growth starts with finding, not shouting.

Foraging is a deliberate search. You learn the terrain, you know exactly what you're looking for, and you pass over a hundred things that are almost right to find the one that is.

That's how I think marketing should work. Before a business can grow, it has to find the right people, understand what actually matters to them, and learn the language they use for their own problem. The message comes from what you find, not the other way around. The botanical thread in this brand is what happens after: when the right people, the right message, and the right systems are in place, growth stops being something you chase and starts being something you tend.

"I'm interested in building smarter businesses and a life with room to enjoy them."

The idea behind everything Foraged builds

Big thinking, built backends.

01

I start with the business goal

Not the channel, not the trend. What outcome are we actually buying with this work?

02

Diagnosis before prescription

I identify the gap, determine what is causing it, and build the right fix. Tactics come last.

03

Strategy and systems together

A good plan gets wired into tools that run it. Otherwise it's just a nice document.

04

Momentum over perfection

I move fast and refine with real information instead of guessing for another week.

05

Plain language, clear rhythm

Weekly updates, async check-ins, no jargon, and boundaries that protect everyone's time.

06

Built to hand off

I document and train so the business isn't permanently dependent on me. If I need to replace myself, I will.

Endlessly curious, usually in motion.

Travel is my favorite way to learn. I love stepping into someone else's world for a while, seeing how they live, what they eat, and what their daily rhythm feels like. It's a steady reminder that opportunity is everywhere and that understanding people is the entire job.

Back home in Nashville you'll find me lifting weights, hiking, or in a yoga flow, usually with two books going at once: business in the morning, thrillers at night. My husband and I are often mid-DIY-project or planning the next trip, with music playing and our two very opinionated Chihuahuas supervising.

Becoming a mom sharpened something I already believed. A business should run on systems instead of scramble, protect the time of the people inside it, and leave room for the life happening around it. I build that way for clients because it's exactly what I'm building for myself.

Curious where your marketing is leaking?

Start with the quiz, or just tell me what's going on. I read everything myself.
